I just uploaded a short film called Mad Max: Mercy. This started with me just messing around and recreating the opening to Mad Max: Fury Road. Once I edited the beginning I decided to make a full video. I drew up some plans and then did two more days of filming. It has plenty of issues, but I am only a crew and cast of one so I'm still happy. I've actually learned and improved a lot with this video. I hope to make more, but we'll see. I hope you enjoy/enjoyed the video.
This is my third sci-fi trailer made in KSP, and by far the best. This time I made it shot by shot. Some shots obviously had to be altered or removed, but this is still the most accurate one I've done. I know there's a lot of mistakes, but I hope you enjoy anyway.
This took me over a week, sometimes working almost all day. I've wanted to recreate this trailer since I first saw it, but It seemed like there were too many shots that couldn't be done in KSP. I considered using Space Engineers, but in the end I decide to carry on with the tradition of KSP trailers, and to push through the problems as best I could.
When I first saw the trailer for The Martian, I was excited. It seemed like it would be a movie that was actually based on science for once. It wasn't until a month ago that I found out that it was a book. I decided to read it and it was amazing! Like other readers I was worried it would not have all of the details in the movie, but in an interview with Adam Savage, the author, Andy Weir, said that the script was surprisingly good, so this could be awesome.
If you haven't read the book, I highly recommend it, and that's coming from someone who hasn't read much for years.
Instead of creating a third season of Kerbal Space Program, I have decided to finish the story with a "Movie." I'm not sure how long it will end up being, but I do have a general story arc and have begun work on the script. I don't write scripts for any of my videos, except for the Season 2 finale, which still was just for the dialogue. Also I plan on excluding the typos that were in that finale... Sorry about that. Anyway this project will take a while, so I will probably post some shorter videos before it is released. I want to take my time and make this amazing.
Hello, this is my first update on my website! I haven't posted a video for quite a while, but it's only a temporary break. I was at a six week program at UNC called FSI. It's a great opportunity for anyone interested in STEM. I did a project with the DemoSat program involving Carbon Natnotubes, and I may be presenting the results in front of engineering firms like Lockheed Martin. But that's enough nerdy stuff for now, I'll try to get a video out soon and talk a little about what I'm working on.
